Kim was born in and spent the majority of her life in Montana. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Montana State University and her Master’s degree from Walla Walla University in Clinical Social Work. She was licensed in Montana before moving to Oregon in 2016 to join the team at Coastal Center and fulfill her dream of living on the Oregon Coast.

Kim specializes in working with individuals suffering the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, co-occurring substance abuse, marital discord, life changes and stressors, and grief and loss. She is also trained in mediation and assists separating parents with preparing plans regarding time with their children.

In her spare time, Kim is a beach bum. She combs the beaches for agates, beach glass, and other treasures. She meditates and exercises there. She enjoys the sunsets and the wildlife there. She takes her family members who come to visit there. She is grateful for the Pacific Ocean and thrilled with her decision to move to the area!
